The Assessors for the Town of Harrington do not hold regular office hours. Appointments to meet with the Assessors can be made by contacting the Town Office at 207-483-2061. 

 

Katlyn Eldridge, Assessor's Agent, holds hours in office once day per month.  Please check the calendar to see what day she will be in.  She can be reached at harringtonassessors@gmail.com outside of her office hours.

APPLICATION FOR ABATEMENT OF PROPERTY TAXES

If an individual believes that the assessed value of his property is too high, he can appeal to his local tax assessor for an abatement.

APPLICATION FOR HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION

Taxpayers who live in there home and claim it as their residence may qualify for a homestead exemption on their property taxes. 

APPLICATION FOR VETERAN EXEMPTION

Individuals who served active duty in recognized war periods may qualify for a Veteran's Exemption on their property taxes.
